Asian Handicap 0 – Explanation, examples and tips
July 17, 2018 | In: Asian Handicap
In Asian Handicap 0, neither team gets a handicap – in case of a draw there is money back.
Bookmakers in a game can not recognize a favorite then they usually award the Asian Handicap 0 with roughly even betting odds for a victory for the two teams.
If the game ends in a draw, then you get the wager refunded. If you have typed on the right winner you get the stake times the win rate as a profit.
Example: Real Madrid (0) vs FC Barcelona (0) Betting Odds 1,90 1,90
The game Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona is a completely balanced game, which is why the Asian Handicap (0) was awarded with the respective odds of 1.90.
If the game ends in a draw after the regular time, all Asian handicap bets will be reimbursed on that game.
If you bet on one of the two teams and at the end this team wins the game, then the stake is paid out once the odds 1.90 as a profit.
We like to bet on Asian Handicap 0 – especially in open top games the probability of a draw is relatively high and with a normal three-way bet we would lose our bet more often.
In the case of the Asian Handicap 0 bet, we will get back the bet in this case – but if our favorite is to win, with betting odds of just under 2.00, there is almost double the money!
